AS YOU GO
The good news has “GO” in it. 2/3 of Gods name forward is GO. 2/3 of Gods name backwards is DO. GO and DO. Jesus said in Matthew 10:7-10
7And as you GO, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven [c]is at hand.’ 8Heal the sick, [d]cleanse the lepers, [e]raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, 10nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.
The word “GO” in this passage means to transport or move from one destination to another as a passage, journey, or walk. That means we have something we carry from one place to another. We are responsible to get heaven to earth so more of earth can get to heaven. The will of heaven is being enforced in the earth by believers and not the other way around. (Matthew 6:10) Your belief system will determine which way you are GOING and DOING. Your GOING and DOING can never determine your value and worth as His Child. Jesus determines your BEING, not your own effort to GO and DO. However because of believing in Him you will live, and move, and have your BEING (Acts 17:28) which motivates your GOING and DOING! Jesus gave you the right to be His child. (John 1:12) God has done His part in Jesus. WE do our part by believing it. That is our delegated privilege and Authority as His child to use the Name of Jesus to enforce His will. WE are moving in God and God is moving in and through us, wherever we GO! WE HAVE BEEN given, as a gift, an identity that is righteous and as we ought to be with God our Father. This gives us peace and joy in the Holy Spirit to experience His kingdom here and now. (Romans 14:17) We receive and enforce our inheritance of the Kingdom. God’s promises fulfilled in Jesus to back up His Word with evidence to be a witness the the kingdom of God is at hand. That is the work of the Holy Spirit as the Helper. That means we are the “DO-er” or the “GO-er” and the Holy Spirit works along side with us to accomplish the Word in our lives. In other words, as you go the kingdom of God is now! We aren’t waiting on God as though He hasn’t already accomplished it in Jesus. Jesus is waiting on us to simply believe. Believers BE. Believers GO. Believers DO.
That means we carry the hope of God’s life (eternal) living on the inside of us, for the world. (Matthew 12:21, Colossians 1:27) We carry and walk out as it is in heaven here on earth. Although we may be in different seasons of life, that seem busy or full, we can always keep our affection on Jesus and His Kingdom. God is always with us. (Hebrews 13:5) We simply have to turn the attention, awareness, and intention of our heart towards Him and His kingdom. That focus will lead to a response in where love becomes and action and we represent Him to others.

One of the highlights of this past month has been offering salvation at an annual 1st-8th grade basketball camp for the 140+ campers at RCS in Loveland. I had 5-7 minutes at the end of that day to share God’s Salvation in Jesus Christ with them. I thought to myself, “make it count”. We get one shot at this life, let’s keep an eternal perspective.
